About Me

I once thought my path was set—I would be a lawyer.

But life had a different plan, one filled with rich aromas, intricate flavours, and the energy of the hospitality world. Instead of courtrooms, I found myself in coffee competitions, behind espresso machines, and working alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry.

Today, I am a two-time Austrian Barista Champion and achieved competitor, an Authorised SCA Trainer, a Q Processing Generalist, and a WCEP-certified judge. My career in hospitality spans over 14 years, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

My unexpected journey into coffee and spirits quickly became my passion. I’ve developed expertise in coffee quality assessment, staying updated with evolving processing methods and agricultural advancements. As a Q Processing Generalist, I analyse coffee’s flavours and origins to uphold the highest standards.

Competing internationally refined my skills, but coaching other competitors and guiding them to their first victories has been just as rewarding. I thrive on the excitement of pushing boundaries, whether it’s perfecting an espresso shot or developing innovative business strategies.

Beyond the barista world, I have built my expertise in brand development and international business. As a brand ambassador and consultant, I’ve helped companies enter new markets, forge partnerships, and create marketing strategies that bring coffee and spirits to a global audience. My work connects producers, manufacturers, and distributors, ensuring quality and sustainability remain at the heart of every decision.

Hospitality is an ever-evolving industry, and I’m always eager to learn more—about its challenges, innovations, and how we can make it more sustainable.

I believe great coffee and spirits are about more than just taste; they tell a story, bring people together, and create unforgettable experiences.

I am proud of my achievements, but my journey is far from over. Every cup poured, every lesson shared, and every connection made brings me one step closer to shaping a healthier, more vibrant industry. And I can’t wait to see what’s next.
